Communications Intern - The Hague Institute for the Innovation of Law (HiiL)

HiiL (The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law) is a not-for-profit institution based in The Hague, International City of Peace and Justice. HiiL partners with NGOs, governments and legal entrepreneurs to improve rulemaking and conflict resolution processes. Guided by the belief that justice should be accessible to everyone, HiiL works to increase access to justice and enhance the rule of law. We support clients and other stakeholders doing this together, across borders and based on the best available knowledge. Katie was actively involved in the implementation of the organistations overall communications strategy and designed innovative content and successful campaigns. She increased our engagement across various social media platforms and set precedents HiiL will continue to cherish. Katie showed expertise with tools like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn and Google Analytics. Katie is a creative content writer and also shows considerable technical competence managing the HiiL website. Katie is a team player and always went the extra mile wherever it was required. Katie showed enthusiasm for working closely with Justice Entrepreneurs, and seeing a need for assistance with startups' communications strategy, was proactive in initiating research into entrepreneurs communications needs. This research will help HiiL deliver better service in the future.
